​​Nurtured in Nature — Kids’ Social Connection Group (Ages 5–7)
Created by Dr. Courtney Glickman, nurtured in nature play based groups support mental and emotional health by building focus, self-esteem, confidence, social connection, and resilience. Join us to connect with yourself, others, and the environment through play, art, and movement.
Our group helps children develop skills and confidence with:​

Groups for Autistic Individuals & Families
Serving Texas, Virginia, and Maryland
At Fox & Acorn Child Therapy, we run an 8-week Neurobears group, originally created by Nic King out of the UK, to support autistic and neurodivergent people of all ages, plus their caregivers. Our approach focuses on authentic self-expression—helping participants connect by being themselves.

Each week the group will watch a clip from the Neurobears model and discuss the content as a group. The goal is to help foster positive insight into what it means to be Autistic, offering the opportunity to explore and authentically understand who they are and how to advocate for yourself or your child.
