Child Advocacy in Austin

Bridging the gap between home, school, and mental health.
When a child is struggling at school — emotionally, socially, or academically — it can feel frustrating and isolating for both the child and their caregivers. I offer advocacy and school support to help families navigate educational systems with more clarity, confidence, and compassion. I find this process to be especially important for neurodivergent children, who are often misunderstood in settings created for neurotypical folks.
This might include joining you in 504 or IEP meetings, writing therapy-informed letters to support accommodations, or collaborating directly with teachers and school staff to ensure your child’s emotional needs are understood. I also help families make sense of the process, feel prepared for meetings, and know what to ask for — so you’re not left doing it all alone.
I approach advocacy as a partnership. I believe that when schools and families work together with empathy and intention, kids feel safer, more supported, and better able to succeed — not just academically, but emotionally, too.
